Find the Money:
A Financial Fitness Workshop
You make decent money. So why does it still feel like there's never enough left?
The bills get paid. The money goes somewhere. Maybe you're even paying extra. But the debt barely moves, and you're tired of wondering where it all went.
In 90 minutes, we'll put your spending and debt payments side by side, see what's actually happening, and find the dollars you may be able to redirect.

A place to start
You don't need another lecture about what to cut.
You need to see what's happening.
You get paid. The mortgage hits. You send extra to two cards. Groceries happen. The car payment comes out. Somebody needs something. Then you look at the account and think, how did that much money disappear that fast?
You may not have a spending problem.
You may have a spending-order problem.
Not another budgeting class
This isn't a budget.
And it isn't another debt snowball lesson.
You may already know how to build a budget. You may already know you should be paying extra on something. But knowing that and seeing how your own money is working are two different things.
- Your spending affects your cash flow.
- Your cash flow affects what's actually available to redirect.
- Your debt payments affect how much flexibility you have.
- How much cash you keep matters when life happens.
We're going to put those decisions next to each other, because they don't happen one at a time.
What people said while learning this
“I've been through Financial Peace University multiple times and Profit First. The last five years have been a very, very bone-dry life because I didn't know how to do this. It's not about the information. It's about the person who knows how to interpret it and pass it on to those who need it.”

“I've never been this excited about numbers.”
What we'll do together
I'll teach from an example. You'll work on yours.
I'll walk through a sample household so you can see the method in action.
You'll follow along with your own numbers, privately.
We'll look at what's coming in, what's going out, what your debt payments are doing, and where there may be room to make a different decision.
Your numbers stay with you. You won't be asked to share account numbers, login credentials, or sensitive financial information with the group.
And we're not going to pretend real life stops just because you're paying off debt.
A debt plan should not leave you broke the next time life happens.
What you'll leave with
By the end of the workshop, you'll have:
One
The Whole Picture on One Page
Your balances, interest rates, minimum payments, and what you're actually paying, all in one place.
Two
Your Redirect Number
A number that shows you what may already be available to redirect after the bills that have to be paid are covered.
Three
Your Acceleration Plan
See what changes when your payments stop working separately and start working as a plan.
Four
Your One Next Move
Not homework. Not a 30-day challenge. Not 99 things to fix. Just one clear next move you can take action on immediately.
A quick word before we go further
No. I'm not taking away your whole life.
I'm not going to tell you to cancel everything you enjoy and live miserably until the debt is gone.
Yes, you can keep Netflix. And your coffee run.
A plan only works if you can live with it.
We're looking for a stronger order, not a punishment plan.
“My husband and I have gone through Dave Ramsey over and over. Every time we talk about budgeting or snowballing, you can feel the tension in the room. This right here, I cannot wait to share.”

“What I'm realizing is that I don't want to use extra money to pay things off because I'm afraid I may never have it again.”

Meet Martha
I've spent almost 30 years looking at the life behind the numbers.
My work has crossed taxes, business, insurance, and financial education. That means I've seen money from more than one angle: what happened, what needs attention now, and how today's decisions can affect what comes next.
What I've learned is that most people don't need more financial noise. They need a way to see how the pieces fit together.
That's how I teach. Plain English. Real-life examples. Room to ask the questions you may think you should already know the answers to.
Today, I teach Financial Fitness workshops and conversations designed to help people understand what they're looking at, ask stronger questions, and make decisions that actually fit their lives.

Please do not email or share your statements with anyone.
Before you join
A few questions, answered.
Do I have to share my finances with the group?
No. Your numbers stay private. I teach from a sample household, and you work in your own copy of the Find the Money Guide.
What if I can't attend live?
You'll receive access to the teaching replay for seven days. Participant-specific Q&A is not included in the replay.
Do I need to have a certain amount of debt?
No. The workshop teaches the process. Your own numbers determine what that process looks like for you.
Will this tell me exactly when I'll be debt-free?
You'll learn how a payoff plan is put together and start building your own. Actual payoff timing depends on your balances, interest rates, payments, and your financial choices going forward.
Is this financial advice?
No. This workshop is financial education. It does not provide individualized investment, legal, tax, bankruptcy, or debt-settlement advice.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before the workshop for a full refund or a transfer to the next available session. If you cancel within 24 hours or miss the live workshop, your registration is non-refundable, but you'll still receive the teaching replay and workshop materials. If Martha cancels the workshop, you may choose a refund or a transfer.
